- /download/ and /de/download/: big download button, file name, size and
  release date, requirements (64-bit PC, UEFI or BIOS, >=16 GB disk that
  gets erased, USB stick, network cable with internet, second device),
  five install steps (Etcher / Rufus DD mode / dd, boot menu, Secure Boot
  off, proksi.local:5000, wizard, pull stick), checksum + verify commands
  when the release has one, alpha notice, link to all releases
- the release data comes from the Forgejo API at build time
  (partials/release.html): newest release with an .iso asset, falling back
  to params.version if the lookup fails; getresource cache disabled so a
  build never pins an old release
- homepage: status chip follows the latest release, 'Download ISO' primary
  CTA + 'Source code' ghost CTA, numbered how-it-works cards, download band
  before the closer
- releases now upload furtka-<ver>.iso.sha256, and release.yml rebuilds the
  site after publishing so the download page follows each release

Boot from USB, click through a wizard, and any old computer turns into a private cloud for your household — with your own apps, your own name on the network, your own data. The goal is simple: **your dad should be able to set this up.** How it works

Ready to try it? Free and open source (AGPL-3.0). Runs on 64-bit PCs, old ones included. What works today
Boot from USB stick and install Furtka onto the hard drive
A wizard asks for name, user and network — done
Then: open the control page in your browser
First app: **file sharing on the home network** (everyone on Wi-Fi sees the folder)
Install and remove apps with one click
Update an installed app with one click (pulls the newest container image)
Update Furtka itself with one click — no reinstalling for new features
The control page asks for a password — nobody on the Wi-Fi can just walk in
New apps arrive from an online catalog, without waiting for a Furtka update
Apps can build on other apps — what one needs gets installed alongside it
Encrypted connection on your home network, switched on in settings
